It appears to be raining white snow again but this time it is from the dandelions they only blossom for a short time before they turn to white puff balls as I like to call them...ha ha
Saw my 1st bumble bee the other day it was so fuzzy & fat. If he didn't have a stinger I might have caught him and taken him home with me....they're so cute. So apparently the lawn mowers up here are electric plugged in...it's kind of funny looking. They also call cash registers a "till".
Thank you to all who sent birthday wishes that was greatly appreciated. It poured rain non-stop on my birthday but Saturday made up for it with a surprise birthday party by the women's bible study group. What affirmation I received that day -perfect thoughtful gifts & cards. It was wonderful.
I can't believe only 4 more weeks until our kids perform in the year end show. I can't believe it, how time has flown. Which means only a month until we take our production on tour as well.
So the past few weeks living in a house with 9 people has been interesting. Every week something different has occured - dishwasher breaking, shower valve broken (only 1 bathroom for ALL of us) and yesterday the Hot water tank blew out and flooded the room downstairs - yeah for no hot showers.
To add to that the littlest one - Cassius (4yrs.) broke his femur (??spelling) while bike riding his bike last week. Conveniently while Heather (mom) was gone for a week doing a conference. So he has a body cast on. Poor kid but he's still cute. An elderly lady gave me the most random-est gift - a balloon cover which makes king of like a beach ball- but its a balloon. Well this toy has worked out great when I'm watching him or He's getting house crazy. He's got a pretty good hit and I get quite a work out chasing that ball around...ha ha.
With only a few months left i'm working on setting up everything for Heather's new studio to run smoothly (administratively) when I leave. Although her recent comment was could she find a way to beg me to stay. As I've said before it's interesting how every job i have is under transition and I find myself smack dab in the middle of it. Is there a title for that - "transition assistant"...ha ha.
Amongst the business of the schedule I'm still trying to make time for seeing this Beautiful BC land so below are some pics from my hike and the mountain side I climbed which at the time didn't realize how dangerous it was til I got near the top. Ya, don't ever try climbing the side of a shale mountain - NOT SMART.
Thank you again to those who have sown into me and my time here. The experiences and lessons have been so vital for my future, in more ways than i can share.
I'm still in need of monthly support. Please make donations payable to Safe Harbor Church.
