Made it through the Year End show....Now for mine...

The Year End Show " A Magical World" has come and gone. What an awesome experience both for me and all my little dance students. In addition to having 6 of my classes perform in the show I also was stage manager overseeing the "calling on deck" for all performers. Yes I got to put my organizational skills to use overseeing 27 dance performances, in addition to the acting that took place between each piece. Heather created the entire show with her imagination and what a show it was. The stage was massive with 7 dressing rooms filled with mirrors and hollywood style light bulbs. It was such a fun experience for all the girls. I also had the privilege of pulling one of the massive curtains towards the end of the show which revealed heather on stage playing the piano and singing a song (she created in 30 min.) she wrote displaying the theme of the show. Everyone says my preschool butterflies stole the show, but the finale is quite a memory of all 100+ kids coming on stage at once dancing all kinds of formations. It was really quite something.

I'm proud of my kids and their dances - due to my responsibilities I was not backstage able to take pictures of all my kids and no flash photography was allowed in the theater due to the professional video taping. But I did manage to get someone to take a few. The experience of teaching is one I will carry with me always and the inspiration and experiences with the co-teachers has been so valuable and I feel honored to have partaken in.

This week I will do final preparations for Heather's dance company show "LOVE 146" which starts Thursday evening - June 30th. Then we head out Saturday for our tour on the east coast of the states. As my time comes near an end here in Canada I can't help but reflect on the ups & downs, the good and ugly and how it has refined, refined, refined my character, my thinking, my attitude, my perspective, and so many other things, in addition to giving me greater vision and understanding for the greater things that lie ahead. Which without this process I could not walk into those things.
I thank you all for who have sown into me, making a kingdom investment. I am anxious to get home and see what God has in store for me in August but am making every effort to stay focused in finishing strong(closing out all the nitty gritty admin stuff, final dance training, pouring into those around me and doing as the Holy Spirit leads).
Your prayers and financial support mean alot to me and will be much needed for the next month and a 1/2 as I will have additional expenses (food, oil change for my car, gas money for my trip back to cali, etc.). For our tour we are responsible for all food expenses while traveling - so anyone that would like to donate I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Again all donations can be sent to: Safe Harbor Church PO BOX 1214 Tustin, Ca 92781
or you can give online at pay pal:

Blessings to you and so look forward to meeting up with you all soon!

June

What a week, what a week! Two weeks left teaching dance and we have our year end show. I've been busy putting their costume pieces together. The show is called "The Magical World" it is about a little girl that goes into the forest and discovers all these different roads that come to life. So 6 of my classes are doing 4 pieces in it. The "Road of Mystery"(5-7yr. old Jazz), Road of Butterflies & Air (preschoolers), "The Road of Letters (7-9yrs. Jazz) and the "Road of Adventure"(5&6yrs Jazz). I'm looking forward to it all coming together.

Shortly after we head out tour with Heather's Production Company doing our show called LOVE 146. Some sad news but maybe exciting for others. Our tour to Australia has been cancelled which cuts our tour schedule back. Which means......... I'll be coming home a few weeks earlier than planned. To be honest I think I'm more excited to come home and see my family and friends than go to Australia. Our tour starts June 30th - July 13th; so if you feel compelled to pray for me - PLEASE PRAY!!!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go see some BEAUTIFUL waterfalls about 1.5hrs. away. They were gorgeous and we were able to climb down to one. I also finally got to see my 1st Canadian bear. It was the cherry on top of my day! check out my photos & video on Facebook.
The other day while out on a trail I literally ran into a rather large deer (must be some special kind cuz it looked a little different). anywho...we both stared at eachother for a bit I wasn't quite sure what to do so I finally back up cuz he wasn't moving and then continued on around him....ha ha looking back it was such a neat moment. But in the middle of it, I wasn't sure if should be in awe or afraid. These deer um here seem to show no fear of people, they just STARE right at you.

Thank you again to those who have been financially supporting me. As you sow into the Kingdom of God I pray you reap greatly!!!

For those who would like to give you can also give online now through paypal!(thanks Dad & Joelle for helping me set up this up) Just a few clicks and you submit your donation.
I pray you are all well. So miss everyone and California!!

Blessings,
Jennie

It's JUNE..........

It appears to be raining white snow again but this time it is from the dandelions they only blossom for a short time before they turn to white puff balls as I like to call them...ha ha
Saw my 1st bumble bee the other day it was so fuzzy & fat. If he didn't have a stinger I might have caught him and taken him home with me....they're so cute. So apparently the lawn mowers up here are electric plugged in...it's kind of funny looking. They also call cash registers a "till".

Thank you to all who sent birthday wishes that was greatly appreciated. It poured rain non-stop on my birthday but Saturday made up for it with a surprise birthday party by the women's bible study group. What affirmation I received that day -perfect thoughtful gifts & cards. It was wonderful.
I can't believe only 4 more weeks until our kids perform in the year end show. I can't believe it, how time has flown. Which means only a month until we take our production on tour as well.
So the past few weeks living in a house with 9 people has been interesting. Every week something different has occured - dishwasher breaking, shower valve broken (only 1 bathroom for ALL of us) and yesterday the Hot water tank blew out and flooded the room downstairs - yeah for no hot showers.
To add to that the littlest one - Cassius (4yrs.) broke his femur (??spelling) while bike riding his bike last week. Conveniently while Heather (mom) was gone for a week doing a conference. So he has a body cast on. Poor kid but he's still cute. An elderly lady gave me the most random-est gift - a balloon cover which makes king of like a beach ball- but its a balloon. Well this toy has worked out great when I'm watching him or He's getting house crazy. He's got a pretty good hit and I get quite a work out chasing that ball around...ha ha.

With only a few months left i'm working on setting up everything for Heather's new studio to run smoothly (administratively) when I leave. Although her recent comment was could she find a way to beg me to stay. As I've said before it's interesting how every job i have is under transition and I find myself smack dab in the middle of it. Is there a title for that - "transition assistant"...ha ha.
Amongst the business of the schedule I'm still trying to make time for seeing this Beautiful BC land so below are some pics from my hike and the mountain side I climbed which at the time didn't realize how dangerous it was til I got near the top. Ya, don't ever try climbing the side of a shale mountain - NOT SMART.

Thank you again to those who have sown into me and my time here. The experiences and lessons have been so vital for my future, in more ways than i can share.

I'm still in need of monthly support. Please make donations payable to Safe Harbor Church.
