May May May.....

This has been the week of blessings and it's not even my birthday yet. I received a free pass to take some dance classes I've been interested in for the next 8 weeks at another studio here in town.
The other day I was thinking I needed my car vacuumed out but didn't have access to one and I had stopped by one of the ladies house from Bible study group and she had all her vacuum stuff out and was cleaning her car and she offered her stuff for my car - THANK YOU LORD!

Then I spent 2 hrs. in the sun lying by the river, playing my guitar - SO GORGEOUS! THANK YOU JESUS...this is going to be a regular pit stop for me.

This past Sunday I went to Kelowna...what a beautiful drive there. I absolutely loved it!!! Beautiful lakes, trees, mountains, farmland, streams/rivers. Oh I just loved it!! I also attended Wes & Stacy Campbell's church (very big ministry around the world)and ended up talking with Stacy afterwards. It was cool how it just kind of happened cuz i actually didn't approach her, she kind of approached me.

Today I went on a little hike(w/my roomate Anna the ballerina- 1st hike ever in her life) and then we went to lunch and due to waiting (quite some time) for our food the manager didn't charge us for our bill. I think my time in Africa waiting for food developed my patience which does pay off.

I must say I now have a new appreciation for soda drinkers and from it have figured out a way to make money off it. At the local Tournament Capital Center (like a gym) They have a special 1/2 price during lunch hours so I take all the cans into the recycling center every week and get just enough money to pay for my swimming which has helped immensely with my knee and getting me in shape for dance (strength).

God's doing some neat stuff with our women's group which has been exciting to participate in - revealing new things, bringing freedom & encouragement in levels we really need. It's neat to see how God is orchestrating things together positioning and preparing for the greater things that lie ahead.
I've been greatly encouraged in all that God is doing in my friends lives back home. I'm reminded of how powerful testimonies are and that it is significant to keep sharing those with one another. It keeps our focus on God and spurs one another on to not only persevere but really take hold of the GOOD things God has for us. We can walk in victory b/c the ultimate sacrifice was made and Jesus has given us all the authority that He has empowering us to change our communities and make disciples of ALL nations.

Things are beginning to pick up momentum around here with year end recitals, summer dance camps and our dance company going on tour but as I have learned I must remain being in the moment in the present as a carrier of God's presence not become a Doer losing sight of what God is doing here & now.

As we enter into this next season I pray your focus remains on Him as you live as a carrier of God's presence.

Your prayers & support have been a blessing to me and know that I appreciate it greatly! To those who sent money this month it couldn't have been more perfect timing!!! Would love to hear updates from you. Please feel free to email me, etc.

Blessings!
I am still in need of monthly support. I challenge you to take this opportunity to partner with me in sowing into the Kingdom of God.

It's May...one of my favorite months

May is here and rolling by for me. The hours left for my kids to rehears are closing in on me and giving me nerves. But I just gotta accept the fact all I can do is all I can do. The sun is finally shining most of the time up here and we’re pushing for 70 degrees…come on spring I know you can come. I see flowers everywhere..but there’s still a chill in the air.

I participated in the Church clean up this past Saturday and ended with a BBQ. Despite the lack of sociality I must give the Church credit for knowing how to honor & show appreciation and value for their volunteers in all areas (ministry leaders, volunteers, kid workers, etc.). Something I think many churches should easily adopt. Who knows maybe it would spark more people to be active members in the church…ha ha.

There appears to be major shifts going on in many peoples’ lives filled with lots of uncertainty ahead. Which for me has been comforting that I’m not alone in this but also brings excitement and awe of what is God going to do next! So for those who feel alone, don’t b/c many people are in a transition/shift right now stand strong in faith knowing God works all things together for good.

So apparently in Canada Cinco De Mayo is not celebrated….so I’m going to try and create some kind of Mexican Festival up here at the house. We’ll see how it turns out.

Please keep me in your prayers as I continue to invest into these women’s lives every week. God is really stirring in them to position them, I believe for the Greater things He has called them & created them to do. Every week the testimonies are just so amazing & encouraging!

My journey has been a roller coaster as some of you may know and I had somehow injured my knee and was unable to fully participate in learning the choreography for the Production the past month or so. But thank God my knee has been healing and things are looking optimistic. Please pray with me for an extra download of supernatural skill to dance as well as the other gals in the production (who have been dancing their WHOLE Lives).

For everyone that keeps asking me when will I be returning to California. Mark it on your calendar sometime mid August.

I have a few months left and have appreciated all those who have supported me thus far. Funding has gotten pretty slim this month so any support you can give is greatly appreciated.

Blessings to you all J
